Coincident constraint to reference geometry - how do I delete?

I have a coincident constraint to reference geometry issue. Whenever I get this issue, I can sometimes see magenta geometry. I assume that is the color for bad geometry. I select it and try to delete it, but no luck.

How can I delete the magenta points?

Sometimes you have to right mouse button Break Link, but is should be a very rare occasion to have sick (pink) sketch geometry.  To me this is a sure sign that more robust techniques could be developed.

I need to develop some robust techniques for sure. I dread changing a sketch because it usually breaks the whole model.

But it is getting better by the day and this forum has been my one source of help.

On this sketch, the Break Link option was not available. I did a Redefine and selected the sketch plane and that got rid of the bad geometry.

Sometimes there is a trick to getting to that option.  I have never committed the trick to memory, but I can always quickly find it when needed.
