Changing part parameters from an asssembly. iLogic

Is there a standard command or command sequence that allows for the changing of a parameter, say length, of a component from within an assembly. I'm looking to compile a code that allows for a template to be created, then that template will do changes based on text box input and then save out the modified parts with new part numbers.

With iLogic you can change or control just about anything within a part. Standard code... The code is very dependent on the objects your working with and the parameters you want to control in those objects, so the syntax will vary a bit depending on the situation. There are a number of threads that touch on what you want to do, I would begin tracking down bits of code that do what you want, and save them as snippets, and use them to develop your final code T.S.
