Hi
has anyone got any ideas on the best way of constraining a chain together, not a bycicle type chain, but a chain using separate welded links.
Work points on the inside of each surface of the chain links springs to mind, and this makes the links join together at the correct point, but when the chain needs to be along a 3d path they just move all over the place. I could create a 3d spline to represent the path as an in-place component, but how would I constrain to this.
Any ideas anyone.
The chain link is a simple sweep around an obround sketch.
