Caution Using Nautical Miles IV8

I didn't realize, when the thread 'Metric Washer iPart (anyone have flat
and lock washers?)' drifted off into a discussion on Nautical Miles,
that IV8 includes Nautical Miles as a length unit.

I love it! I don't know when I'd use it, but I love it.

Unfortunately:
1/ I disagree with the choice of using the British Nautical Mile (No
offence) rather than the more precise International Nautical Mile.
2/ The conversion factor is wrong. It should work out to 1853.184 m,
not 1853.24496 m.

I've heard through the grapevine that Inventor 9 will include the light-year
as a new unit of measure... \8^P

You mean that even when we have a cable from the Earth's surface to space,
you guys __STILL__ won't be on metric?

If they do catch-up they'll have to spell and pronounce it differently 😉

But they would have the cable to space - probably a few weeks before the rest of
us 😉
