catching part up in .ipn

I am using IV 2010.  I have placed my assembly in the .ipn.  I have identical bolts that I tweaked all at once.  The only problem is I have 40 and only tweaked 39 and did not notice I left one out.  Is it possible with out tweaking that one individually to catch it up to the other 39?  I would like to keep the bolts tweaked together so if I need to move them all I need to do is drag the trail of one and the remaining will move. As of now it looks like my only way to do this is to delete all the tweaks for the first 39 and start over which I would rather not do. Thanks.

Hi  scoopthepoop2000,

 Try this:

  • Click the little filter button on the model browser and change it to Tweak View.
  • Then expand the Explosion node and locate the tweak that moved the bolts.
  • Then expand the assembly model and locate bolt #40.
  • Finally, click on bolt #40 and drag it up and drop it on the tweak node (named Translate 22.000 mm for example)

Autodesk Inventor IPN add component to tweak.png

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis
