Cannot have toolbars switching

Cannot have toolbars switching according to mode(idw, ipt, iam) like we use to have'em in 5.3, only panel bar changes, need help. Also, sketch doesn't work on .idw's, it asks for a plane to start sketch like on .ipt dwg (!!!???)
Thanks Marco

Sketch works in my idw files. Did you pick the
view then type S?

I just did that(type "S")and it works, I use to do this by hitting "Sketch" on toolbar either before or after picking view. Thanks, Larry!

I've seen this happen in a class before. What
happened then was the student had gone into the "Customize" dialog for the
toolbars/panel. In the "Drawing" environment, he switched the "Default standart
toolbar" to "Part Standard". After that, when he hit the sketch button while in
an idw file, IV was invoking the part sketch command and not the drawing sketch
command. To fix this, change the "Default standard toolbar" for the "Drawing"
environment back to "Drawing Standard" OR hit the "Reset All" button in at the
bottom of the dialog (WARNING: this will reset all custom toolbar changes you
have made). Now that I've worn out my " key, do these ramblings make sense to
anyone but me?

Just remembered... He didn't change the "Default
standard toolbar" to "Part Standard" it was changed to "unchanged". With this
setting, IV keeps whatever was the previous toolbar. If you create a part, then
switch to a drawing, it will keep the Part Standard toolbar. Same result,
different scenario.
