Hello
I have a simple part.
The problem is I cannot change any Dimension to Driven Dimension and cannot delete any Dimension and Constraint, see video link
http://screencast.com/t/4xOD3pggR2YK
I have copied the sketch and created the new part but once it finished the problem came back again. Please advise what is wrong. Other parts are ok.
Part IPT is attached.
Best regards,
Orest Yavtushenko
Works fine here, just double click on the dimension to change. Not sure why you are selecting the "Dimension" command.
Blair - I am not at my 2014 machine right now.
Can you click on a dimension and toggle it from Driving to Driven?
Can you delete a constraint?
I get the same error in 2013.
(the file is a 2012 file)
You had a couple of "Sick" dimensions, one at each end of the sketch referencing the diameter of the body. Deleting them fixed the sketch.
What also helped was deleting the sketched axis, and using the projected origin plane, set to a construction axis. That and deleting the two sick sketch lines did it for me.

This part is under design as well as all assembly. I wish I can do whatever I want with my part as I do with others but I cannot. I need to alter geometry a bit, not just alter the dimensions.

Hmm, does not work on my sketch. Once I have touched at least one dimesion I must delete all of them until this sketch gets calm as well as touching the constraints.
