can you derive an assembly?

I have an assembly with 3 parts, I want a mirror of that assembly, is this possible?

Deriving the assembly you can get mirror but it will be a single part. You will have to derive with mirror each individual part (be glad you have only three parts in your assembly) and then build a new aim from these. J.D.

Yes, you need to derive that assembly into IPT
environment. Then derive that derived assembly and check mirror part. Yeah, it
is a hassle for having an extra part file there.

See "Mirror Assembly?" thread from yesterday
(8/6).  No - you cannot do a true mirror of an assembly - you can only
derive it into a part (ipt).
