This has worked before. SP1 issue maybe??
I use basic constraint to make the bearing concentric to the bore. Then, I should be able to move it axially, but I can't.
This worked a week ago.
Any ideas??
Have you fooled with Tools>Application Options settings?
If you do Manage>Rebuild all what happens.
What do you see if you turn on the display Degrees of Freedom symbol?

"basic constraint" ??
Thats not an option.. You have "mate", "angle", "tangent", "insert", and "symmetry"
To do what you seem to be asking you should be using "mate" using the center axis of each hole of those 2 parts..
Sorry, "mate"
It's working now. The first part was not grounded. Update wasn't helping. I grounded the first part (become a floater when I deleted another part that was the ground) and no it is working.
Thanks
Glad you got this to work. I was almost going to suggest the move command to see if you had tried that.
I guess if it happens again you can try it next time.
