Can't make dimension style changes permanent

We're set up with a vault based system, with each of the clients having content center files installed locally on each workstation.

However, all of the style definition templates have some text missing (specifically, the " suffix for inch measurements).

I have attempted to edit the style definition for all of our dimension templates and are able to apparently save them for each drawing that we do, but it won't permanently stay fixed.  Every time I make a new drawing, the template changes are gone.

Is there a way to fix this?

Are you saving the the drawing with the alterations as a template (over the old template)?

Is everyone using the same templates? (Template location on server or copy new templates to each local template location.)

Maybe you turned off the notification that style definitions in the template differ from those in the style library and those in the library will be used:

style.png (if they haven't been saved to the library).

Manage tab, Styles and Standards panel, Save (to style library).
