Can't install IV10-SQL Server error

I cannot get IV10 installed on one machine. I get a message when it's installing the SQL Server Desktop Engine - Setup Failed to configure the server. I have followed other threads posted and tried all of the solutions - deleting log files, running 3 regsvr32.exe commands, checked registry keys, checked file and print sharing and computer browser and server, unregistered and registered windows installer after installing latest version - but no luck! This is an XP, SP1 (SP2 not installed due to issues with accounting software)machine which has GUPTA SQLBase Server installed for our accounting software. I have successfully installed this on 2 XP SP2 machines without GUPTA and 1 Windows 2000 machine with GUPTA. I've attached the errors and the log file.

Yikes, a 1.33 jpg file :~) Scaling pictures that big would help a lot in
reducing the size, and make it easier for most people to see right in the
newsreader.

Do you have an Inventor_MSDE_CC_Setup.log (or something like that) that
you can post?
