Can't constrain curved face to an edge

I need to constrain/mate the rounded nose of this plunger to the edge of the threaded hole in an already existing part. We are trying to retro fit a current design with a solution to a problem. I need these parts mated together so I can adjust the size of the plunger to fit into the current design. I have done a lot of searches through the discussion groups as well as online, but to no avail. I did read somewhere that you could use a tangent constraint between a curved face and an edge, but I can’t seem to be able to accomplish this. Anyone have any thoughts on how I could accomplish this?

So,

what do you want to have happen with this?

Do you want it to be constrained (locked) in position or are you expecting Contact stop on motion?

what it is supposed to do is the radius on the lever is supposed to make contact with the taper on the slide block, then when the slide block moves laterally(aligned with the holes) it is supposed to move up and down on that taper. I thought it would be tangent, I tried mating the edge to the face too, that didnt work either

OK, now I think I have it.

Do you have Inventor Professional with Environments>Dymamic Simulation?

I am not sure, is this a program within inventor or another program. I have the whole product design suite.

Might help if I could speel.

Click on the Environments tab.

Do you see an icon for Dynamic Simulation like this

Dynamic Simulation.PNG

I guess I better show a "solution" without DS in addition to the DS solution.
