Can not install IV10, Autodesk!!!

Trying to install IV10 it abborts and I get this error message: please see c:\docume^1\vm-designing\locals^1\temp\autodesk inventor 10 setup.log" for details. I have done everything that has been recomended to uninstall Inventor beta 10, I have more then enough disk space. Operating system WXP SP2,
NVIDIA Quadro FX 500 as video card.

I had the same problem installing MDT2006. Someone in the MDT group suggested that it was problem with Microsoft.NET Framework. After I uninstalled that thru add/remove programs, the MDT2006 installation went fine.

Do a NG search for Error 2739, and see if the solution there helps you.
If not, please post whatever you have in terms of logs (e.g.,
AIS10Install.log); perhaps that will help clarify what's going wrong.

I had the same problem. My dealer, Advanced Solutions, suggested copying the DVD to my C: drive and install from there. It worked perfectly.

I have the same problem and have tried almost everything under the sun. NO joy!

I had the same and had to uninstall everything assosiated with IV10 e.g Vault 4, .NET, Web Services Enhancements (WSE), the two SQL Engines (ie contentcentre & Vaule) and then also go into windows explorer and delete all respective files and folders. NB alsways good idea to stop any related services too... This worked for me, but then again everything is localy installed both BETA and release...
