I would buy resonable price, big screen tablet and a good workstation. Then drive the workstation form the tablet with Autodesk Remote

The specs are below the recommended specs for 2015, but it should still "run" it. You would not see good performance though. Also Inventor is not made for touch interface so it could be difficult to use without a mouse and keyboard.

so in case of no mouse or keyboard, inventor won't run on any tablet?? however high the tablet's specs are??

Inventor was not  designed for touch screens in mind

it  was designed for a keyboard and a mouse

it may work with a touch screen but it will probably have limits

Inventor will run on a tablet with good enough specs. It would probably be hard to use without a mouse/keyboard but not unusable. I personally could not imagine using inventor without a physical keyboard, mouse, and 3D mouse. You could use a tablet's on screen keyboard and touch input (mouse) to use Inventor, but have fun being productive.

I have a mouse adaptor for my phone Smiley Happy and one for my tablet. Good enough for presentations, but pball is right, I couldn't think of using Inventor without my 3d mouse either.
