Can I export a single sheet to Acad form an .idw containing several sheets?
Copy the IDW and rename it, then delete the sheets you don't want and use
this IDW.
Of course you will have an extra IDW with duplicated sheet but it is not
maintained from the original so if you want to keep it you would have to be
careful to remember to update the annotations.
Probably not what you want.

SaveCopyAs DWG on a multiple-sheet IDW makes one DWG for each sheet:
IOW - 3 sheets in A.IDW makes A_1.DWG, A_2.DWG and A_3.DWG.
