I am using Autodesk Inventor. I have an Autodesk Inventor Assembly file (iam) corresponding to my setup. I would like to convert this iam file into a stl file in order to import the geometry into GEANT4. The problem is the "conversion" from CAD to GEANT4 geometry is only working if each sub-components of the setup are imported separately. If not there is a problem of navigation in GEANT4. Therefore, I am looking for away to convert automatically each part file of the iam file into a stl file. Is there one ?
