buttons for macros

I have recently downloaded the macros from mycad site, and read the instructions for loading the macros. Is there a way to create buttons for each macro and place them in my toolbar so I don't have to load each time I want to use a macro? If so can someone explain it to me or point me to a site with instructions for creating buttons?

I believe Sean has a tutorial, but I'll repeat from another post in
Customisation:

RMB on the tool bar, then choose CUSTOMISE

Go to the COMMANDS folder on top, click on MACROS and you should be able to
drag your macro to the toolbar.

As for changing the icon, create a 16×16 bmp file.

Name it MODULE.SUB.small.bmp

Replace MODULE and SUB with your details.

fritsche, you need to copy and paste the macro text into your default.ivb
macro file, then they will appear in the customize menu under macros. Then
you create the .bmp button and copy it to the same folder as default.ivb and
name it as Rui says above.

The macros need to be in your default.ivb, before they will show up for toolbar usage.

It sounds to me like you are trying to export or import toolbar settings. A completely
different thing.

I just want to make buttons for the ivb's I downloaded from mycad, instead of having to load macros each time. Where would I find that info to make button (short-cuts) to run the downloaded macros?

Ok I am still confused!! I downloaded everything from i-code on mymcad site and a few others from cdobston site. I have noticed that some only contain an ibv. file and some are exe. files. In my explorer I have placed the ibv. files in the inventor/bin/macros folder. There is also another folder called macros in the autodesk folder. I am confused as to which one is correct..??? When I install the exe. files I assume they know where to go, but not all of them show up in my tool bar. The ones that do show up are exactally what I want, a button that starts the macro, so I don't have to load it each time, what I want to do is create buttons and place in my tool bar all the ibv macros, is this possible. The instruction from Rui above tell me what to do but when I get to the macro part there is nothing in that folder..????? Can someone please help me..????

You need to open the new ivb that you download and
copy into your default ivb in the VBA ide.  That way they will be loaded
automatically when you start IV and then you can have them on a
toolbar.  You need to cut and paste text from the module section if
the name of the module is the same as one that exits in your default.  You
can export from one IVB and import into the other for forms, modules, and
classes.  Then once you have saved your bigger default ivb you need to
make bmp's as the button images following the naming structure in
Rui's replay.  Then you can customize your toolbar and have the
macro's show up.
