Button doesn't respond

Something is wrong with one of my users' Inventor 2013. The issue is that he wants to Save Copy As of an Inventor DWG to an AutoCAD DWG. The Option button in that Save Copy As window, that allows you to choose an ini file, does not respond to clicking, slapping, yelling, or pleading. We've never had this issue. We need that Option box to be clickable for making AutoCAD DWG files for client deliverables and also for creating DXF files for the fab shop.

Hi!

Change to a "Administrator Account", open inventor and try to do it one time (Save as DWG ACAD and DXF).

  • If it doesn´t work, go to "TOOLS ->ADDINS and in tab TRANSLATORS check if DXF and DWG are Loaded.

  • If it works, go back to your account, this will work from now.

The translator loading did not fix the issue.

The problem was fixed by installing the most current Service Packs for Inventor and AutoCAD Mechanical.
