Is there an upgrade pack for British Stanards parts etc. The version we have at the college where I work has Din etc but not BS.

I have tried searching the site for the product but no joy.

Any help would be appreciated, our IT lads just got sarcastic when we asked! Must have cautht them on a bad day.

Hi Mau,

You may filter the Content Center Library by Standard Organization. I note that a filter for the British Standards Institute (BSI) exists.

BSI Filter CC.png

Please note the OTHER standard content center library should be installed and included in the active project. The OTHER library contains much of the BSI content.

Have you searched the content center with this filter enabled? What type of content are you looking for?

There are also several free online part libraries that may be helpful.

http://grabcad.com/

http://www.tracepartsonline.net/(S(np15mqndwemvot45hkiohdmo))/content.aspx?ClsID=/ROOT/C21/C21.060/C...

McMaster-Carr is a great online retailer that offers CAD models for a bunch of items.

Finally, you can create you own custom content center libraries if you do not find exactly what you are looking for. I hope this helps.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Cheers,

Hi there,

My configure librarys window says that the "Other" Library is "not available- can you advise what I might be able to do to resolve this (I am now working on Inventor 2015)

Many thanks in anticipation of your assistance

Richard,

If you don't have the "Other" CC library installed you need to rerun the Inventor installer & add it from the Content Center library section. Or perhaps someone else there has the idcl file that you can copy over to your computer. The idcl files by default are in C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Inventor XXXX\Content Center\Libraries

Thanks

Chris
