Breakout on section view

Here's the issue, if you have a section view, shafts are typically turned off for segtioning, however there is sometimes detail such as keyways or oil holes that are required to be shown which is where a breakout, view is req'd, however it appears the only way to do this is by creating a detail view first, leading to the possibility of a lot of clutter on the drawing from detail views, as when a breakout view is created on the section view, the shaft will not participate in the breakout
Any ideas of workarounds

regards
Chris

Chris,

When you create a breakout, there is an option "Section All Parts" to cut
the shaft only in the breakout section.

Hi!

I have a keyed joint in wich the key is fixed by bolts.
The problem is: I create a section, set the section participation for the shaft and the key to 'None', and I create a Break-Out in this same view with the intention to show the threaded hole in the shaft and the hole in the key, selecting the option: 'Section All Parts'. Hence this is an assembly, the bolt is in place and it is in section too because of the aforementioned command. I checked that the sectioning of standard parts is not allowed in the settings anywhere but the break-out command overwrites it. What can I do to keep my bolt out of this break out but keep the shaft and the key sectioned?
