have to get R6 if you want expanded BOM's. A workaround is to create a view of
each sub-assy and generate additional BOMs for each sub-assy. Turn off the
heading for the additional BOMs, line them up, and renumber them so they look
like one long BOM.
I hope someone else has a better idea.

be a MDT memory unless you've used/seen R6 lately. Expanding the BOM is a new
R6 feature.
