I have an iAssembly where I can't seem to access all levels of in the BOM. There is a sub-assembly I need to expand but the command is just ghosted out and in typical Inventor fashion, there's no clue as to why.
If anyone knows why this might be, I'd really appreciate the help. Thanks!

Hi lkrenzler,
If I recall correctly, this is simply a limitation of iAssemblies. Here is an Ideastation idea on the subject, where you can add your feedback and show your support for improving this limitation:

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,

Thanks for the help. Wow, the whole in Inventor BOM system is just wreched. I spend so much time fighting with it it's rediculous. It really needs a complete makeover.
Hi
As mentioned, this is built in, as there are so many variables to the assemblies.
There is a however a work around.
Place the iAssembly in to a new assembly.
Select the desired configuration.
This will unlock the BOM.

Hope this solves your problem.
Thank you very much!
