We are using Inventor 2012 with custom librairies and we have problems with the QTY displayed in the BOM. I have attached pictures of the actual BOM that is generated with our setting and the desired BOM that we would like to be generated automaticly.
As you can see, we would like to have the total quantity for each individual item and for the assembly. For content center items, we need QTY to be displayed in unit « each », not lenght.
If I use the parameter ITEM QTY, the QTY is displayed like we want but we still have the QTY for the items for one Assembly4 only and not the total.
The only way I found to display the BOM correctly is to first change each CC part document setting part quantity to « each », then make the Assembly4 line non visible in the BOM and finally create a custom part line in the BOM with assembly4. This method is very complicated.
Does someone know how to do this more automatic?
