Hello everybody.
every now and then, but recently more then I want, I get a blue screen while doing a stress analysis.
I have a pretty simple assembly with just 2 parts in it. One of these parts is built as a multibody part. It can be that the blue screens started to occur after I made a multibody design, however I am not sure about that.
I downloaded and installed Inventor R13.
Anyone any clue about this??
thanks in advance!!
Paulus
Whats the blue screen error?
Yes it does.
Here it is:
Intel(R) Core (TM) i7 2600K CPU @ 3.40 GHz
Memory RAM 16 GB
Version of Inventor, latest Inventor R13
thanks
Getting off into what causes Windows stop errors is a pretty deep subject,. There are a ton of websites out there. Just search for your stop code that is listed. What is the code you are getting BTW? You seeing something like this image?
Most of the BSOD's (Blue Screen of Death) are caused by incompatible/outdated drivers. Its probably not Inventor causing your trouble. Make sure you have the latest driver for your sound card.
You didnt list your graphics card or graphics driver version.
yeah I've been getting blue screens when really pushing Inventor lately.. But its 100% related to bad RAM.. Ran memtest86+ over the weekend and it showed TONS of memory errors.
My bluescreen was for "memory management" issues.
Hello, I have a NVIDIA Quadro FX4600.
I downloaded driver and installed: 296.70-quadro-tesla-win7-winvista-64bit-international-whql. This went well.
I still got blue screens after a while.
STOPCODE: 0x00000124 (0x000000xFFFFFA800D4E1028, 0x0000000BE200000,0x0000005110A)
I am not sure about the exact number of 0's.
Thanks in advance,
Best Regards
Paulus
That stop code is a "general" hardware failure code.. This most likely has NOTHING to do with Inventor.
You would need to have the dump file analysed to figure out the root cause.. Probably faulty hardware..
