Bent copper tubing not staying in place?

I tried doing several searches but maybe I'm not searching for the right question.

In routed systems, If I route "hard" pipe from one point to another, when I populate the route and go back up to the parent .iam level and try to drag the pipe it goes nowhere, this is good. If I try the same with the copper tubing, it'll stretch around all day long...I tried constraining it but that seems to just throw it all over too.

Is there a way to stop copper tube from stetching about?

I have been told to avoid the autoroute option in bent tubing. I manually draw and constrain my 3D sketch route to fixed objects and the tube doesn't move.

I usually fully constrain my routes, or ground them. The geometry inside is adaptive, but the assemblies need not.
