Bend radius

How do I measure the radius of a bend in a STEP-file? I've tried the measure distance tool, but it only measures the shortest distance between two points.

It is possible that the bend isn't circular as it appears. It could be a spline. As a result, there is no fixed radius on the curve.

Depending on the file, the arc can be segmented or a spline as mentioned. The simplest route is to put it in a idw to get the dimensions you need by some 2D method. I often use this method for "nearest" distances between two curved surfaces.

PS there is no need to save the idw.
