I want to do a simple bend of a cylinder. That is, I have made a 40inch length and want to bend it at several places.
I keep finding a reference to bend part but the tool does not exist in Inventor.

Are you using Inventor or are you using Fusion?
In Inventor
But in Inventor or in Fusion I would probably use Sweep to "bend" a cylidrical part rather than Bend Part.
Assuming that you are really using Fusion - you might post your question over here
@Anonymous wrote:....so is there a free trial version of Inventor? Thanks I will give Sweep a go.
Yes, search Google for download site (for 30-day trial).
Any student over the age of 12 can download free 3-yr student license of Inventor from http://www.autodesk.com/edcommunity
Just to follow up on this topic, was there ever a definite anwer for how to bend a cylinder in Fusion 360?
I've tried Sweep in Modify, but cannot seem to make it work. Very simply, I have a hollow cylinder 360 cm in length and would to bend it a specific angle, over a certain distance of the cylinder, at a specific location along the cylindrical axis.
Help!
Thanks
this isn't the fusion 360 forum
thats here: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Get-Help-with-Fusion-360/bd-p/123
