Autodrop onto washers

Hi All,

I have an issue with Autodrop where if I place washers from contents center and then try to place nuts on top the Autodrop feature does not recognize the multiple washers where as if I remove the washers and place the nuts directly onto the plate the Autodrop feature works.

Is this a flaw with Autodrop or am I missing something?

Also, I know about the bolted connections but for this instance Autodrop would have ben a faster method.

Thanks,

Chris

P.S. This problem can be reproduced on any part/plate with multiple holes in as I originally thought the part file was corrupt.

That is a correct behaviour. The autodrop of the washer picks up the patern of the holes while droping the nutt on the washer only picks a washer.

See if this helps.

Edit:

If you have done your holes as pattern you can drop a bolt, washer nutt and pattern them with association with the hole pattern.
