Autodesk Inventor 5-6 Compatibility

Does anyone know how to view and edit inventor 6 files on inventor 5. I'm getting an error message that says, "error in reading RSe segment streamer". I assumed it was a 6-5 compatibility issue, but I truthfully don't know. Any information is appreciated. Thank you.

anyone know how to view and edit inventor 6 files on inventor 5. I'm getting

cant do it that way.

there are ways so that they could be viewd and
edited, but only as a solid.

.sat translation would to that.

 

something tells me theres a market for an IV
feature translator.
