I recently installed Autodesk Inventor 2014 on my Toshiba laptop. After launch everything works fine, for example I am able to open and edit a file I have already created, but when I try to make a new file and select "NEW" from the menu, I get a "Inventor is not responding" error and I have to close the program. Any help on this would be great becasue I need it ASAP for my school. Thank you!
Did you install with anti-virus and UAC turned off?
Have you installed Update 2 (and 1)?
Do you have the template files in the default location?
Have you tried a Repair Install?
