Autodesk Communication Center not working

Hey there, I'm running 64 bit Vista with Inventor Suite 2009 with service pack 1 and the subscription bonus pack installed. I constantly have errors of the communication center not working I have about 30 error reports in the Vista error reporting thing. Anyone know of a fix for this?

It's never given me any notifications in past versions, even
when enabled. It's just another memory and resource hog

I've got the same issue. Vista 64, Inventor 2009, SP0 (I never got a notification that SP1 was available, downloading as I type).

What is even stranger, however, is that is does not work in Inventor, but works fine in Autocad.

I found the same too. Vista 65, Inventor 2009 Sim Suite, SP1. And in AutoCAD it seems to work.

I have the same problem too. I too, would like to be notified of any updates with out having to jump out of Inventor. It works ok with Electrical2009 and Mechanical2009, so why cant it work with AIP2009?

I'm amazed at our learned AutoDesk freind's response.

Sounds like it is too hard for AutoDesk to be even be bothered with such a trival question or below their ego.
If some other person from AutoDesk could take up the challenge to find out why it does not work and let us into the secret of getting it to work.
Some times I wonder what we pay subs for.

Cheers,

Ian

I'm having the same problem and would like to know where your seeing these error reports? Maybe there is a clue there?

I am getting these error reports in Control Panel/System and Maintenace and View problem history under the Problem Reports and Solutions header.
