Autodesck Design Review & Solid bodies

Hi,

Sometimes I design a single part that has two or more solid bodies in it. This is usefull for us and as we use Inventor we can hide the solid bodies if we need to look inside/past them.

But some of the other guys in the company only use Autodesk design review and when they open the .DWXF file of the part it only shows up as being one solid body and they see that its actually made up of several solid bodies.

Is there a way to look at these parts in Autodesk design review and be able to look at the solid bodies, in one part, seperatley.

Thanks

P Kee

There presently no way to control the viewing of solid bodies when viewing in a dwf file. As you may have tried it will not recognize view reps in a dwf and treats all the solid bodies as one part. The only option I could see would be to use the Make Components command and covert the part with multi bodies to an assembly with parts. Then when viewed in dwf the parts could be turned off and on.
