Auto Expansion in Browser

Is there a way to disable the automatic expansion of parts and subassemblies in the browser whenever the cursor hovers more than a second over them? This feature is creeping-up my annoyance scale... Thanks!

I have NEVER heard anyone that has thought this was a good thing.

It certainly makes one wonder why they would implement a behavior that
is so disliked right across the industry.

I'd like to say I like it. But poor execution mucks it up. If it
expanded after 3 secs on the plus sign (not on the icon) and collapsed
after 3 secs on the minus, I'd like it. Adjustable values even better,
with a set to 0 to turn it off, like "select other".

Wow, I didn't even know you could do this. I like it already. It's perfect for constraining

... and the browser auto scrolling to center so you can't see the icons or
leftmost characters?

Some many "features", so little time. 8~)

LOL.  Yes, I guess you would. How could
you have not known it was there.  It's so obtrusive.

I am not sure that I understand. This doesn't happen in my browser. I can have the cursor hover over an item in the browser until the cows come home and the item doesn't expand. I assume that you are referring to the browser in Inventor.

Make sure the cursor is over the icon, not the + or the name.

My browser bar doesn't expand either, probably because my bar is not docked...
