Auto Desk Invetor 2015 Problem with Drawing

Dear Community,

I need your help, because I want to create a drawing.

If I want to insert a model, I get an error message.

Please find attached the CAD model and the error message as a screenshot.

Thank you for your help,

Eric

Did you open the iTwist Drill.ipt file first and drag the red End of Part marker to the bottom of the feature tree so that there are features to show in the drawing?

Hi! The part was last saved in Inventor R4. The table needs to be migrated. What release of Inventor you are on? Here is the step to make the iPart up-to-date.

1) Open the iPart factory file.

2) Move EOP to the bottom.

3) Right-click on the Table node -> Edit via Excel -> close Excel -> click Yes to any prompt.

4) Rebuild All and Save.

You will see the Table node has sub nodes representing each member. At this point, you should be able to create drawing view from a member or generate member files. If it still does not work, please let me know asap.

Many thanks!

@JD

I accept as solution and it should be clossed now.

Today I haven't time to work on it, but I will try it tomorrow.

Many thanks,

Eric
