Anne,

The web based NG seems to be acting up today. I replied to the thread "Big Issue for my company" but my post, along with others that had posted, aren't showing up in the web based forum. And now the NG shows that I started a thread called "Toolbars don't change/update" which someone else started earlier, not me.

Can you confirm that there's some wierd stuff going on here or am I just having a really funky Monday?

I will pass this on to her to make sure she sees it. I haven't heard of any other
complaints today though.

"I haven't heard of any other complaints today...".

I know, that's what worries me. I'd swear though that earlier today there was another name that started the "Toolbars don't change/update" thread.

If I do a web based search I see a lot more threads under the "Big Issue for my company" thread (10 posts) than what shows when I log into the web based NG (6 posts).

Thanks Kent.

There was another thread with that text posted by someone else. Since you are anonymous
I couldn't email you to see if you meant to do that or ?? so I just sent it in

There is two threads running with the same subject because of the double post on the Big
Issue thread. That is probably why you are seeing issues there.

Ah, I hadn't noticed that the "Big Issue" thread had gotten broken up.

Still don't understand how the Toolbars thread happened.

Oh well, I guess MechMan's funky Monday is the winner.

Thanks Kent.

It's my fault!

I double posted the Big Issue thread since I was having a similar
problem witn the newsgroup this morning. Things weren't showing up that
I thought I had seen, and I was concerned that my post didn't actually
make it. So, I dug it up and reposted. Sorry for confusion, but I was
having newsgroup issues too.

I have been vindicated!

Thanks for the honesty Jason.

This moderator got a bit confused trying to figure out who posted
what, when and where! Actually I think the message groups
under discussion are okay but I have seen reports of messages
scrambling in a couple of other newsgroups. Those were reported
on Friday but nothing has been found yet.

If you do see a message that has your name on it but is under the
wrong message header, please post back with details.
