Assembly constraint

When constraining 2 parts together, how do you change the direction
of the arrow defining the constraint plane? This was a simple "flip"
in a dialog box MDT.

Thanks,
Tim

There are two choices in IV7 and they are directly under the Selections Area
under the Assembly tab. IV calls them Solutions.

What you're looking for is in the 'solution' box in the constraint dialog.
For a mate, the flipped condition is actually a slightly different
constraint (flush). You can toggle between the two at will. The angle
constraint has a flip option for both faces that is more like the MDT
method. It's just a slightly different workflow to achieve the same result.
It's easier IMO, but takes a bit of getting used to.

Please don't change the subject line on a reply. It can sometimes be confusing when
trying to follow a thread.
