Assembly / animation exercises

Hi,

Does anybody have any exercises that they could please share with me? Recently i have worked my way through a variety of pretty complexed exercises (see below link) and would like to find a few more. The main reason for me doing these particular exercises is to learn how to animate the parts.

Please link any exercises you may think will be helpful,

Thanks,

Paul

personally I'm a sit-ups and push-ups kind of guy.. 😉

If you google "Autodesk Inventor Tutorials" you should find TONS of stuff to get you sweaty.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I'm not after tutorials as i know most of my stuff. i need a few exercises where i can put my skills to practice.

Ideally i could do with some 2d drawings of parts that I can draw up and put together myself, and then animate them if applicable.

Thanks

Well then.. Look around the room.. Pick something, grab the calipers, and model it up.

scissors..stapler...vacuum cleaner...cordless drill ,etc...

Heck if you just grapped the calipers.. model them up too..

Your link didn't work so I couldn't see exactly what you wanted..

Of course I can't see why the tutorials are any different.. They have parts/animations,etc...

I don't understand - did you animate those?
Any examples of what you have done?

You could move on to Dynamic Simulation

I guess I am confused about what it is you want to learn next?

If you are looking for a challenge on assemblies with motion - I strongly recommend you search here on all questions on Dynamic Simulation and see what you can find on YouTube and other sources.

Hi, I know this post is from almost two years ago, but did you succeed in assembling the clamp correctly? I'm having trouble with the clamp tee and the clamp base spacer, attaching the rod to the both of them at the same time (they are already in place with the rest of the clamp).

Best regards

New lesson #1 Smiley Wink

An iam file is useless without also including an sub iam files AND all ipt files.. The iam file just links to those and does not include them in itself..

Pack and go can be used for large models or just zip up all the files manually and then post them..
