Arc Dimentioning Style

Hi Everyone,

well thanks to all arc dimentioning solutions and finally I'm able to draw arc length.

Now there is another problem about the arc dimentioning style.

Can anybody please answer that how can I draw arc dimention just to one end of the arc not all the way round.

Pls check out the image.

Hi Rabbi_ca

I will be watching this thread to see what methods are presented.

The method I use is to create a sketch on the geometry to be dimensioned.

Tip:

Create the sketch

If multiple arcs, ensure that they do not lie on top of one another.

Do Not constrain the end points yet, (Only arc center)

Exit Sketch mode.

Dimension the sketched arcs.

Return to the sketch

Constrain the sketch correctly.

Exit sketch.

See my post, to get an idea on detailing arcs.

I don't have 2013 installed yet - so I can't answer your question, but just to clear things up for others who might come upon this thread through a search - it has always been possible to dimension arc length through a simple geometric parameter.
The formula for length of arc is well known.
