Any word on SP1

Does anyone know for sure that AutoDesk is going to release service pack 1 for inventor tomorrow? Not that I am holding my breath, mind you...Just tired of the bugs.

There has NEVER been any official work from
Autodesk on this group saying the SP is going to be released tomorrow. Take that
however you want. I'm not holding my breath either, but I could be
wrong.

I had a Tech from AutoDesk tell me today that there
is a plan to have it posted the website tomorrow.

I sure hope they have more than one server
available for downloading the SP. 10 or 20meg is not that big unless everyone is
connnected and downloading the same file, then download times will decrease
dramatically, unless you have a T1 or greater line.

And how would they know? I am continually amazed at
the rumor mill from people who "talk" to Autodesk experts. I know everyone is
just passing on information they think will help people, but lets keep
things here based on first hand facts.

The situation is this. The service pack whet
through per release testing and found two issues that were considered must fix
before release.  Current timelines say that we will release it to web
tomorrow evening. I would expect that you will be able to get it first thing
Monday, maybe over the weekend if we are lucky.

Now, all this is dependent on our comfort that we
have fixed these two issues to your satisfaction. One or two days to make sure
it's right is in everyone's interest.

Good move. No need for any undue rush. Thanks for the update.

Please, do take whatever time is needed, just make the software workable
with this SP.
