ANSI hatching

Does anyone know if there is a place in IV that tells you what material is
associated with the different ANSI hatch patterns? Specifically, I'm
looking for Nylon and Buna-N Rubber. I can't find it in my books.

Thanks in advance.

Mike

As a standard I do not know but as a company standard we just used a solid hatch pattern for rubber. Oring type stuff in section. Didn't autocad have a relationship established between hatching a materials?

Current ANSI standard don't use hatch patterns for material descriptions and
haven't for sometime at least not for mechanical drafting. Hatch patterns
are still used in the architectural world, however.
