Hello

Is it possible to set the system to always overwrite older version to new version

Its very annoying to always get the warning about this

From the WikiHelp:

Prompt to save for migration.PNG

You can find this check box in Tools > Application Options > Save tab.

I haven't tried this out to see if it does exactly what you want, but as far as I can tell, it is the closest you can get.

I have Inventor 2013 but most files is made in 2012.

So everytime I edit, placing an older file I always get this question about Data Format

I have about 9000 files and its annoying to klick OK on every old file

Cant I migrate all of them to 2013

Yes, you can migrate them all at once using the Task Scheduler.  You can run the task to do all files in a specified folder, or you can do it for all files in a specified project.

Using the Task Scheduler is the recommended method for migrating large quantities of data.
