Annotations in IDW Views.

Is there any way of attaching Text to Drawing Views, like in MDT, without having to create a Sketch first?

Also, Is it possible to create a Hole Table in idw, then turn off the table and leave the Hole Tags (Hole Numbering)?
or, is it possible to edit the hole values in the Hole Table format, ie I have Sheet Metal parts with the various holes that require Countersinks on both sides, I need to add a note into the Hole Table to say that a particular hole is Countersunk "Farside only".

Thanks.

To attach text to a view, you can make a leader annotation without a leader.

As far as making a hole chart with out the chart
showing on the page, all I can think of is to just drag the chart off the
page.

I could never figure out how to make the hole notes say "farside only" either. I ended up using the standard notes in the hole chart and then just adding text above or below it to say that.

You can add a custom column to the hole table
("Location" for instance) and double click "value" to type in "Far Side Only" if
that's of any assistance.
