Unfortunately, no, sorry.

I just wanted to inform the readers of the NG that SP1 is looking very good
and you will all be pleasantly surprised on the 15th.

Boesky, Ivan
beskee
(1937 –)
Financier, born in Detroit, Michigan, USA. The son of a Russian immigrant, he studied law and worked as a tax accountant before moving into securities analysis, forming his own firm in 1975. Credited with (or blamed for) pioneering the junk-bond market, later a symbol of the excesses of the 1980s, he had become one of Wall Street's most successful arbitragers when he admitted to insider trading charges in 1986. Fined $100 million, he served time in prison before being given parole for good behaviour in 1990.

I really won't be the best person to answer this, as my FireGL2 always
performed very well with Inventor 6 (prior to SP1 and even in Beta 2 and
Beta 1).

What operations were giving you power exits prior to SP1?

You do have a FireGL from reading other posts - what are your other specs?

CPU? OS?

It's a homemade PC - I see no reason to pay someone to build what we (or I)
can build cheaper and arguably better.

It's a Pentium III 1GHz processor with 768MB of PC133 SDRAM, and also sports
an Ultra160 SCSI HDD. It's running a Windows 2000 SP3 OS. However, I was
never really having that many problems with Inventor 6 on that machine. It
was the other one that power exited 5 times on every day that ends in "y".

That one is also a Pentium III 1GHz, but with 1GB of PC133 SDRAM, an Oxygen
VX-1 video adapter, and an IDE HDD running at UDMA-66. It's also got
Windows 2000 SP3.

The only real significant hardware difference between the two computers is
the mobos. The first box (the one that runs well) has a Tekram mobo with a
VIA chipset. The one that didn't run well used an ASUS CUSI-FX (FlexATX
form factor) mobo with an SiS chipset. I've never been too fond of SiS
chipsets, myself. Well, really I've never cared for VIA chipsets, either.
On my home computers I stick to Intel chipsets.
