Please use the link below and fill in the Product (Inventor), OS (?) then Card Vendor (AMD) Card Type (View All) and Card Model ( M8900). This will give you a driver listing and whether we have tested that card for use with Inventor. I did check will Windows 7 as an OS and it did list an approved driver to use. You can then check the driver version against the one you’re presently using. If they differ then down the one from our site and apply it.

I already did that, but even if it is certified and tested doesn't mean people have not had problems with it.  I was just wanting from feedback from users who may be using it to see if they have had any issues.  Thanks for the detailed information though.

Hi Shastu,

I know this is a pretty old post but I was wondering if you went with the card you mentioned?  We are currently getting ready to buy a laptop and are in the same boat.  Is it worth $300 to upgrade?

If you are using it, do you like it?  Or did you decide to go with something else?

Thanks,
Mark

I don't even have that machine anymore, but I think that is what I went with and didn't have any problems although I wasn't running AI 2012 either.

Thanks,

I think we are going to give it a try.  We'll put the money saved into a faster processor.

I'm interested in how this card is working out for you?  Thoughts?

It seems to work just fine for us.  Graphics look good, no flickering.  I don't know how much a graphics card affects performance but processing and display time of large corridors is pretty comparable to my desktop.

3dorbit with shaded surfaces look good.

I would not hesitate to buy another one.

Thanks,

Mark
