When is Autodesk going to fix the text line spacing? Everytime I create a note or leader text that contains one of Inventors symbols from the text editor window, it completely messes up the line spacing!! I know I can use "ALT + 0216, etc" for some of the symbols, but not all! What is the point of having it there if it has never worked correctly? I have customers, both internally and externally, that continually make comments about the line spacing on notes! They add all these nice new features in every release, but seem to neglect the simple things that people use everyday! Just venting, because my boss brought this up this morning and asked me when this problem was going to be fixed. I keep telling him it will be fixed in the next release...that was back at release 2!

That extra large spacing pops up whenever you
insert symbols from the menu as you mention.  While it is a pain in rear to
have to always alter it, you can select the text afterwards and change the
spacing to exactly, then choose the number that looks like what you want. 
I use mostly .10 text with .15 spacing entered to create .05 gaps between
lines.  It looks fine, but is another time-consuming
workaround.
