Advanced Extrude-Cut with undercuts(Draft Problem)

Hi

I want to use a part for cutting in another part. Like derived a part.

But the cutting part has several undercuts and I need the cavity to have a positive draft.

Does anyonee know how to get this.

It is a bit like presssing a small figure into clay and retracting it again.

Should I look into making it like an electrode, or can i draft the part after making the cavity? I havent found out yet.

Best regard

Peté

It is by the way for a Vacum/thermoforming mold.

Depending on the geometry of the part - you might be able to Face Draft after making the Derived Component cavity.

Otherwise you will have to create it in the toolbody.

Face draft does not work for me. And using parting-lines is not really an option due to several undercuts hense several parting lines.

I have done it before, but I dont thing it was in Inventor.
