Add mass of wires and cables to assy (C&H library objects)

Seems like Inventor ignores wires and cables when calculating mass of the whole assy.

Any suggestions on how to workaround this?

Just FYI, if you like us would like to have this functionality you would probably need to:
1. Add length-mass (we call it "Gram_per_Meter") as custom property to each of you wire/cable definition in IWL.
2. Code your own app that would callback/intercept saving C&H sub-assy event and would parse IWL for the values of length-mass and calculate and override mass of C&H assy (for each wire multiply length-mass to its length etc).

...At least it works for us so far...

PS: According to techsupport answer Autodesk is not going to improve anything regarding this "limitation for the time being".
