Adaptive design and sheet metal

Has anyone had problems with the adaptive design in relation to sheet metal products? It seems that if I have more than 2 flanges, the part will not adapt to the mating part. I would chalk it up to operator error had I not taken several different approaches but I am not going to rule that out.

I have set the features that will update to be adaptive. Do I need to set everything or just the features that I know will update?

If the part is grounded, then it my not update. You
will get an error. It seams to be the case in a lot of cases
anyways.
