Academic Inventor

 Hi all,

I've downloaded the Inventor 2015 file from the academic website on 3 occasions since September. Each has downloaded successfully but when I run the exe file I get a mesage that some files are missing.

The file is 

Autodesk_Inventor_2015_English_Win_64bit_R1_dlm_001_002.sfx.exe at a size of 4,130,064KB each time.

Does anyone have any thoughts of what th eproblem may be?

There are 2 files..

Seems like you only downloaded 1.

You should have 2 files for that and they should end in

001_002.sfx.exe (<-- you run this one and the second auto extracts during install)

002_002.sfx.exe

If you are using IE to download you should have a bar at the bottom of your screen with the progress.

Right click on this and select something like Show Download Progress (I forget the exact termonology).

You should then see the 002 of 002 file.  This caught me too as it didn't automatically start download ofter 001 of 002 was finished downloading.

This is the download file sizes that I got many months ago.

Thanks for a prompt response.
There hasn't been a 002_002 file ever come through. I have tried
downloading different ways, download manager which often hangs and browser
direct, neither of which bring a second file.

I'm wondering if there is a fault in the download script (or whatever it is
called) on the academic website.
