3-S sketch, Line

After constructing a 3-D line, I usually need to change the default radius
value. Sometimes when I update one, all radii change to the same value
(which makes since, they all have the same name); however other times they
do not. Any idea(s) why this happens?

The first radius created is the controlling radius. If you change it they
all change. If you change #2,3,4 etc.. only that one changes..
